VISUAL IDENTITY, BRAND STRATEGY
In a multi-year project, TC & Friends designed and created the visual identity and branding for Al-Mujadilah, Center & Mosque for Women, by Qatar Foundation.
Opened in February 2024, Al-Mujadilah was founded by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser in Doha, Qatar. A first for the region, the Center’s mission is to empower Muslim women and foster a society where all women are engaged, acknowledged and recognised.
Inspired by the traditional role of the mosque as the axis of society, Al Mujadilah is equipped with classrooms, a library, gathering spaces, a café, and gardens. A community space for women, it will host activities and provide programming in Arabic and English ranging from workshops on Islamic history & law, mental health, wellbeing and relationships, to book clubs, training programs and research.
TC & Friends’ design work includes a bilingual logo, websites, site signage and associated literature. A huge thanks to our right-hand women on this project, Bakhtawer and Betty of Plan B Creative Studio.
