The Macallan House is a global series of pioneering immersive retail spaces where the world-leading Scottish whisky brand’s key values of Nature and Culture come to life. It is the fruition of a longstanding collaboration with the brand, from the definition of the initial concept for a ‘Brand Temple’ and retail space to the proposal and appointment of award-winning architect Jamie Fobert to oversee the rollout. Additionally, TC & Friends has been instrumental in curating and selecting local artists to create bespoke pieces for each space.

Launched in early autumn 2023, The Macallan House Singapore is the first of these experiential retail spaces, situated in the heart of the iconic Raffles Hotel. The space features two site-specific works by Singaporean designers Nathan Yong and Tiffany Loy, each drawing inspiration from the brand’s ethos as well as The Macallan Estate in Speyside, Scotland.

‘The Estate’ by Nathan Yong is crafted from green onyx, with curves that elegantly mirror the contours of the River Spey.

Inspired by the amber hues of The Macallan whisky, ’Nature Colour’ by Tiffany Loy has been hand woven using silk and wool to create the wall mural.
